The crystal ball (3) has an upper part provided by a transparent plastics ball with a hollow space filled with a transparent liquid in which a stereo decoration is provided as a float (53), the short tubular filling opening (32) for the transparent plastics ball closed by a matching cover (33), e.g. via ultrasonic welding and fitted to a base (34). The hollow interior of the transparent plastics ball containing the transparent liquid is formed in the centre of an initial solid transparent plastics ball by an extension of the filling opening, with the same diameter as the latter.
