The fuel injection valve, for an internal combustion motor, has a jet needle (2) mounted at least partially on the reciprocating piston (7). The fuel chamber (8) has a shaped limit stop structure (9) at the upper side (19) towards the piston (7) to define the stroke movements of the piston (7) and the opening movement path of the jet needle (2) e.g. 80 mu m. The shaped structure (9) forms a ring.
