Digital binary or nonbinary data storage uses material with recording layer not pre-exposed, in which birefringence is induced by pulses from pulsed focused laser or intensity modulation of continuous wave
Digital binary or nonbinary data storage uses material with recording layer not pre-exposed, in which birefringence is induced by pulses from pulsed focused laser or intensity modulation of continuous wave
In digital binary or nonbinary data storage by scanning a memory medium having substrate layer(s) and recording layer(s) with a pulsed focused laser ray or by intensity modulation in continuous wave operation with various pulse energies and polarization states, the recording layer is not pre-exposed and birefringence is induced by pulse(s). Laser scanning is unnecessary if relative motion between the medium and laser spot is produced in a different way. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the memory medium produced in this way.
