Piezo-electric actuator in the form of a piezo- ceramic component can also be operated as a piezo-electric sensor for measurement of frequency behavior dependent of the mechanical loading arising from a frequency coded, mono-, multi- or varying frequency signal in the form of an excitation voltage (US). A corresponding measurement voltage (UM) decoupled from the actuator voltage (UA) is time-independent and changes only with the mechanical loading or electrical actuator voltage.
