White, biaxially-oriented, fire-resistant, UV-stabilised polyester film with at least one layer containing 2-60 wt% cyclo-olefin copolymer (COC) with a glass transition point of 70-270 deg C plus UV stabiliser(s) and fire retardant(s), the fire retardants and preferably also the stabilisers being added directly to the polyester as a masterbatch during film production.
