Total or partial dental prosthesis with a steel-reinforced, permanently soft lining of silicone rubber for bearing on a jaw ridge can be separated into 2 parts. The part bearing on the jaw ridge has a steel reinforcement holding the soft lining, whilst the prosthesis part has a metal support for artificial teeth, which is attached to the steel reinforcement and can be detached.
