The installation duct has a U-shaped cross section duct with base and two limbs parallel to each other, together with a cover that is locatable on the duct section. The installation duct is designed so that limbs (3,4), on their outer sides facing away from each other, have supporting and hook type fastening parts which are complementary to each other. The duct sections (1) are arranged close to each other. These are aligned parallel to each other, and are connectable to each other by supporting and hook type fastening parts provided at outer sides of the limbs (3,4) pointing to each other.
