The plastic chain cable duct is made up of links (1 -5) with a U-shaped cross-section. Cross-bars (9, 10) extend between the arms of the U and these have a central gap (13) between them which is at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the duct. The novelty is that the links are made from rigid material and the gap is the same as, or greater than, the diameter of the cable (14) to be fitted in the duct.
