The system has a screen frame profile (1) and a ventilator profile (2) to hold a motor-driven ventilator. The ventilator profile has a multiple chambered connection area and a ventilator holder area. The connection area has devices at its upper side facing the screen frame profile, which positively engage corresponding devices on the lower side of the screen frame profile. The ventilator holder area is supported on the room inner side of the connection area and projects over its height, so that the upper edge of the ventilator holder area at least partly covers the inner visible surface of the screen frame profile. An independent claim is included for a window with motor-powered ventilation.
