The decision unit forwards emergency call to the wire-bound network or public mobile radio telecommunication network, based on the received signal. A response signal is output by virtual stationary unit and a timer is set when response signal is received by the decision unit. When an acknowledgement signal is not received within the set time, an emergency call routing is cleared and the stationary unit has means to trigger the acknowledgement signal. Acoustic and/or optical call signal is output by the carryable transmitter and virtually stationary transceiver. The received signal is indicated by a display unit. A verification signal is output relevant to incoming help demand.
