The device has a first sample bottle magazine (6) to hold empty bottles and a second sample bottle magazine (6 asterisk ) to hold full bottles. A bottle identification device and a filling device are arranged on the transport path between the magazines. A transport device moves the bottles into a transfer position. Two vertically spaced horizontal arrangement planes are arranged in a frame, to hold the second magazine underneath the first magazine. The transport device, bottle identification device and filling device are arranged in the upper plane. The transfer position opens into a fall and guide tube, which ends over the second bottle magazine.
