The measuring method has the fulfillment of a first criteria verified for an initial data transmission rate and a given signal level, with subsequent selection of a higher data transmission rate and verification of a second criteria which is dependent on the first criteria, e.g. successive bit error rates thresholds. An Independent claim for a testing device for a digital radio network device is also included.
