The roof structure has a first front hard roof part (2) which swivels from a closed to open position where it faces by its outer side the second roof part (3) which contains the rear window and swivels from a lowered to a raised position through articulation joints (5). When the first roof part is opened the second roof part is set in the same lowered position in which it is placed when the first roof part is closed.
