The system continuously detects, records and evaluates the acoustic spectrum existing during movements, compares the acquired spectrum with a normal operating spectrum and detects deviations as defect information. The spectrum is compared with previously acquired defect spectra to enable rapid identification of recurring defects. Time and position resolved recording is achieved with GPS or DGPS.
