Ball bearing for motor vehicle includes rolling element and washer. The washer material includes carbon of 0.6-0.95 weight percent (wt.%) and chromium of 10-13 wt.%. At least one among molybdenum of 0.5-2 wt.%, vanadium of 0.5-2 wt.% and distributed precipitate of fine carbide of size 50-300 nm are also included. The remaining are iron and unavoidable impurities. Generation of eutectic carbide of size more than 10 mu m during heat treatment is inhibited.
