A runoff valve connected to a part rotating with the shaft (8) uses an element pressed with speed-dependent force against the equalizing chamber (24) force direction. With overpressure from the chamber, the valve frees the hydraulic flow out of the chamber. The valve has a stepped bore (36) moving towards the valve seat (38) and the bore is angled relative the shaft axis and in this way pressed with increasing force onto the seat as the speed increases. The closure force exceeds the opening force as a function of vehicle speed due to the force of the speed-dependent pressure emanating from the equalizing chamber (24). The valve element presents a ball (40) and the cone disk pair (10) acts as the output pair of the gearing. The chamber is supplied with hydraulic medium through a feed along its radially inner side.
