The arrangement has at least a first detection arrangement for a transverse dynamic parameter, a second arrangement for detecting a vehicle speed parameter and a third arrangement for detecting whether a pendulum motion of the vehicle is occurring from the transverse dynamic and speed parameters. The parameters are checked against associated threshold values. An Independent claim is also included for a method of detecting pendulum motion in a vehicle.
