The seat has a locking mechanism interconnects the first and second seat element independently of the accumulator mechanism(9). The accumulator mechanism has a flange(28) freely pivoting around an axis(X) independently of the first and second seat elements, a first locking component(33) interacting with the flange in order to lock it with regard to the first seat element if the second operating component is in its neutral position, and a second locking component(42) interacting with the flange to lock it with regard to the second seat element if the second operating component(34) is in its operating position.
