Sensor container has a C-shaped cross section sensor housing (3) for containment of a tube type pressure sensitive sensor (2). Both ends of the container have locking parts (4A, 4B) that are part of the same single element as the container body. The container and ends are of elastic material that enables an outer pressure to be transferred to the inner pressure sensor. An Independent claim is made for a pressure sensor (2) for detection of a trapped or clamped object with the sensor extending along the length of a seal (9).
