The magnetic field sensor has a carrier (10) designed as plastic-injected part and provided for a magnetic field-sensitive sensor unit (26a), which is designed as a surface mounted device (SMD)-unit. Sensor components (32) contact over conducting paths (16a, 16b) of the carrier and are coated with plastic together with the carrier. The surface mounted device-unit contacts with front side sections of the conducting paths of the carrier.
