The micro-tunnel boring machine for subterranean pipe laying has a working cylinder unit (23) at the rear of the pipe (2). The pipe has a narrower tubular component (4) at the front and a tipping section (6) allows the direction of boring to be corrected. A drill head (5) is fitted at the front of the tubular component. A sleeve (3) connects the pipe to the drill head and covers the tubular component. It has a section (3b) in the middle which can be bent. The pipe has a tubular component (4) at the front whose external diameter is less than the internal diameter of the pipe. A tipping section (6) allows the direction of boring to be corrected. A coupling device allows the housing and tubular component to be connected and disconnected.
