The controller has an induction and exhaust bypass circuit for connecting the downstream side of a compressor to the upstream side of a turbocharger turbine and an induction and exhaust bypass valve that can be varied so the induction and exhaust bypass circuit can be opened and closed. An induction choke valve on the upstream side of the induction circuit can be varied so induction circuit can be opened and closed. The controller has an induction and exhaust bypass circuit (20) for connecting the downstream side of a compressor to the upstream side of a turbine of the turbocharger (11) and an induction and exhaust bypass valve (20a) whose degree of opening can be varied so that the induction and exhaust bypass circuit can be opened and closed. The degree of opening of an induction choke valve fitted on the upstream side of the induction circuit (12) where the exhaust feedback circuit (15) is connected can be varied so that the induction circuit can be opened and closed.
