When a CPU (11) compares the actual photography data e.g. shutter velocity, f/stop value, with the preset photography data, and judges that the compared photography data do not match, e.g. an external LCD (41), an internal LCD (43), emits a predetermined warning. The CPU previously measures the actual photography data during the exposure control operation of the camera. The CPU also sets the photography data prior to the exposure control operation.
