To fix the hub (7) on the drive shaft (6) a bearer (11) is fixed to the shaft and a locking element (30) to enclose the wheel (5) hub (7). The excentric bolts (15) on the bearer now engage enlarged holes (33) in the locking element to locate this axially in relation to the bearer when the element (30) is turned round the rotation axis (A) from its assembly position into the wheel (5) locking position. The bearer (11) uses its centering core (14) to center the hub (7) relative the rotation axis (A) once the core has fitted into the hub (7) and the excentric bolts (15) pass through passages in the hub so as to drive the wheel (5) round. The fan wheel hub bears against a transverse plate which forms part of the bearer and extends outward from the drive shaft (6).
