Pressing device (100) comprises an air-tight container (30) for storing a rare earth alloy powder; an air-tight feeder (20) which is able to move between a powder filling position and a retaining position; and an air-tight powder feeding device (40) formed in such a way that the powder can be added to the feeder without it coming into contact with atmospheric air. Preferred Features: A device for delivering an inert gas into the powder feeding device is provided so that the oxygen concentration in the powder feeding device and the feeder is controlled to 50000 vol.-ppm or more during pressing.
