The valve comprises a membrane (123) which is pressed tightly onto a valve seat (128) by a spring (121). The membrane is raised from the seat against the force of the spring when a predetermined pressure is reached in an inlet channel (124). The spring has a linear characteristic and is fitted in a spring chamber (129), which is open on one side, with the single opening tightly closed by the membrane. The spring and the spring chamber are arranged on the inlet side (124,134) of the nozzle cut-off valve (114). The opening of the spring chamber may be edged by an all-round membrane seat (131), on which the membrane locates with its rear side edge area. The membrane may be pressed against the membrane seat by a second spring (125).
