The valve has a shut-off member formed by a membrane (23) and pressed sealingly on valve seat (28) by a spring (21) having a linear spring characteristic. This spring is set in a spring chamber (29) open on one side with the single opening closed sealingly by the membrane. The opening can be edged by a circumferential membrane seat (31) on which the membrane rests with its rear marginal area. The membrane is pressed against the seat by a second spring (25). An intermediate ring of metal can be set between the membrane and second spring. The first spring is pref a coil spring acting on a pressure bolt (22) which exerts pressure by its end side on the membrane.
