The glove is made in separate sections (1, 2) covering the fingers, hand and wrist, and fastening bands (10, 11). The finger covering section can be removed, folded and stowed under one of the fastening bands, and the section which covers the hand can be similarly removed and stowed under the wrist band. In addition, the glove can be fitted with a wrist guard (13) which slides under the wrist band and gives added protection in the event of a fall.
