Impregnation of polymer latex particles with an additive (I) involves contacting (I) with the latex in presence of fluid (II) under supercritical pressure, in which (I) is soluble, for sufficient time to carry out the impregnation. An Independent claim is included for a latex comprising polymer particles impregnated with (I).
