P A biomedical analyzer comprising a storage module 12 with tray 14 for supporting the sample tubes and reagent tubes formed by standardized primary tubes, positioned with a predetermined angular offset respectively in holes 30 of a first ring 26 outer, and in holes 32, 34 of at least one second inner concentric ring 28. A single optical reader 42 is arranged at the periphery of the plate 14 to read the identification labels on each tube of samples and reagents. The reader 42 is connected to a control circuit 30 of the motor mechanism 36, and has an axis of vision directed towards the center of rotation of the plate 14 with a light beam of width less than the interval between two sample tubes 16 of the first ring 26, so as to be able to scan the identification label on a reagent tube of the second ring 28. /P
