The Z board propulsion drive has an outer sealed rigid casing (4) with a protection cover (8) with the Z drive (3) at the base driven by a transmission unit (16). A vertical slide section (5,6) and positioner (7) slides into a base unit (12), connecting hydraulic and cable functions. The base holder unit can be set in two positions and is mechanically rigid with the boat outer with the Z drive connecting to the helix propulsion.
