Production of decorative objects involves marking out the dimensions and shape of desired pieces on a steel sheet, cutting out and pressure-forming the pieces with preheating in a temperature range known for the obtained colors, assembling the pieces having a steel bead on the external surface, and brazing high density metal plates formed so as to co-operate on the steel sheet. The steel sheet has a thickness of at most 5/10 mm. The steel welding bead is deposited by means of an oxyacetylene blowpipe. The high density metal plates are made of at least a metal having a warm color such as copper or brass. The process by include a stage of attaching a wooden, marble or metal pedestal. Resin-coated assembled pieces can be used as a core which is placed in one or more molds in order to define a casting cavity forming a closed space around the core. Wax is injected into the cavity to form an expendable casting pattern. The wax model is placed into a loam mold, bronze is cast into the mold, and the metal is cooled and solidified to produce the decorative object. A change in color of the decorative object can be achieved by polishing. An Independent claim is given for a complex statute obtained by the above process.
