Two brushes (12,22) of similar diameter are fixed two parts (30,40) of a piston, which can expand and doing so, vary the distance between the two brushes. The drive element (14,24) bends slightly to cooperate with the internal wall of the tube and the whole assembly moves along the tube. One brush can rotate relatively to the other so that they can clean the helical striation of the tube. An Independent claim is also included for the tube cleaning process.
