Cold air from refrigerating equipment housed in a base tank passes up a pipe (6) and is blown through perforations (7) and vertical slots in a sleeve (8) to sector shaped spaces defined by spacers (11,14) and an outer cylinder (13). The lower radially enlarged part of the spacers (14) form display compartments within a further open circular display cabinet. Cold air may be collected from the display cabinet and recirculated.
