PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst with excellent performance for removing organohalogen compounds such as dioxins and the like, preparing method thereof, and a method for removing the organohalogen compounds using the catalyst. ;SOLUTION: The catalyst for removing organohalogen compounds includes a titanium oxide as a catalytic component, which has pores including a pore group with a peak of a pore size distribution in the range of 0.01-0.05μm and a pore group with a peak of a pore size distribution in the range of 0.1-0.8μm. Another catalyst for removing organohalogen compounds includes a titanium oxide and a double oxide of titanium and silicon, which have pores including a pore group with a peak of a pore size distribution in the range of 0.01-0.05μm and a pore group with a peak of a pore size distribution in the range of 0.8-4μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
