PURPOSE: To check construction in spite of the presence or absence of conditional translation in the editing stage of a logic diagram program without needing a large memory on an editor for logic diagram program, which edits the logic diagram program expressing an instruction by a diagram mark. ;CONSTITUTION: An editing means 3 edits the logic diagram program inputted by an input means 1, stores it in a logic diagram program storage means 4 and displays an editing part in a display means 2. A state transition table 6 expresses the construction rule of the logic diagram program and it shows states which are transited in accordance with the instructions which can be mentioned in respective states. A construction checking means 5 obtains the state transited by the instructions of the respective lines of the logic diagram program in accordance with the state transition table 6, and checks the construction of the logic diagram program by the presence or absence of the state which can be transited.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
