PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit diagram preparation method capable of simply expressing various wiring relations, and to provide a device therefor.;SOLUTION: A circuit diagram editor having a function for applying a symbol name and a symbol number to elements of same configuration and for collectively describing a plurality of elements of same configuration in one element in a circuit diagram in an upper layer is configured to prepare a terminal connection table 22 for an arbitrary cell 10, and to achieve wiring expressions by using the terminal connection table 22. The terminal connection table is prepared by selecting terminals 12 and 13 of the cells in the circuit diagram in the upper layer, and inputting the connection destinations of the selected terminals 12 and 13 for each symbol number. The terminal connection table is arranged in the circuit diagram in the upper layer, and the selected terminals and connection destinations to be connected to those terminals are wired so that the connection relations of the specific terminals can be listed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
