PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition having good productivity and giving a fancy veneer overlaid plywood free from exudation to the surface veneer and surface cracking. ;SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. amino resin which is a cocodensate of formaldehydes with an amino compound and in which the percentage conversion of all formaldehyde molecules into methylol groups is 10-60%, and the percentage conversion thereof into dimethylene ether bonds is 2-30% with 100-2,000 pts.wt. synthetic rubber latex and 1-5 pts.wt. epoxy compound.
