PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus for quick freezing, capable of reducing overwork, preventing the product quality from deteriorating and carrying out the bulk handling by transferring only a fish tail suspending jig free of salmons and trout in the direction of a device for attaching the fish tail suspending jig with a moving device. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus is composed of a fish tail suspending jig, a freezing cabinet 3, a device 4 for attaching the fish tail suspending jig, a moving device 5 arranged in the freezing cabinet 3, a moving device 6 for the fish tail suspending jig installed on the outside of the freezing cabinet 3 and a device 7 for removing the fish tail arranged at the starting end of the moving device 6 for the fish tail suspending jig. The fish tail suspending jig is provided with an engaging pins for suspending the salmons and trout by the tail upward one by one, and the device 4 for attaching the fish tail suspending jig is capable of engaging and suspending the salmons and trout one by one from the fish tail suspending jig.
