PURPOSE: To mechanically confirm whether cleaning is completed or color change is accurately performed. ;CONSTITUTION: A color data detection part 5 analyzes the detected light obtained by an optical fiber 3 to detect color data having intensities by wavelengths of the colors in a paint passage 1. At the time of cleaning, the intensity value of a specific waveform in the color data to be detected is continuously applied to an operational processing part 9 and compared with cleaning confirming data being the reference value of a specific wavelength predetermined with respect to the same paint called out of a confirming data storage part 11 and, when the detected intensity value lowers to the reference value, a discrimination signal showing the completion of cleaning is emitted. At the time of color change, the intensities by wavelengths are entirely compared between the whole of detected color data and the paint color confirming data predetermined with respect to the same paint and, on the basis of whether the error between both data is within a definite range, a discrimination signal showing whether the color of replaced paint is proper is outputted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
