PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound shield evaluating device permitting to properly evaluate sound shielding of a sound shield member to an arbitrary sound source. ;SOLUTION: This device is a sound shield evaluating device generating actual sound data for evaluating sound shielding of an arbitrary sound isolating member to an arbitrary sound source. This device comprises a 1st memory 10 storing sound data of various sound sources, a 2nd memory storing data of impulse responses of various sound shielding members, and a sounding part 16 which reads the sound data of an arbitrary sound source and the impulse response data of an arbitrary sound shielding member from the 1st and 2nd memories, and creates an actual data by a convolution operation.
