PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable brake characteristic in case of being operated at high speed by boring a plurality of brake piece storage holes having screw parts in the adjacent to their opening parts in a brake main body and inserting a plurality of brake pieces, whose base materials having tip parts narrowed in their opening part sides are composed of ceramics, into the storage holes. ;SOLUTION: A plurality of colunmar brake piece storage holes 31 are bored in a brake main body 29 of brake shoes 28₁, 28₂ from a brake side face and screw parts are formed in the adjacent to their opening parts. A plurality of brake pieces 30, whose base materials to be inserted in the storage holes 31 are composed of ceramics, have narrow-width parts, for example small columnar shapes, in the tip parts in the opening part, sides of the holes so as to be formed into ring steps. A heat resistant fiber sheet is arranged around the circumference of the brake pieces 30 except the brake face in the tip part and this rear face, a plurality of coil springs are interposed between the storage holes 31 bottom faces and the rear end parts of the respective brake pieces 30 so that the brake pieces 30 are energized to the opening part sides of the storage holes 31.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
