PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid preparation having excellent dispersibility, antiacid property, transportability, preservability, etc., and useful for the treatment of gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, etc., by using aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide as main components, adding a specific disintegrant thereto and forming the mixture in the form of fine particles or granules. ;SOLUTION: The objective preparation is produced by compounding (A) aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide as main components with (B) a hydroxypropylcellulose having low substitution degree (e.g., having a substitution degree of 10-13% and a particle diameter of 1-14μm) in an amount of preferably 6-15% and granulating the mixture in the form of fine particles or granules by wet-granulation (e.g., stirring granulation, rolling granulation or extrusion granulation). The preparation is preferably administered by oral administration at a daily rate of 1.56-4.8g (0.717-2.15g of aluminum hydroxide and 0.64-1.92g of magnesium hydroxide) for adult in several divided doses by suspending the preparation in water before use.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
