PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for easily specifying the hitter's box of a trainee who hit a ball out of a plurality of hitter's boxes when the ball has reached a target position, and a ball that can be used for the device and at the same time restrains power consumption regarding lighting.;SOLUTION: A coloring part 25 of a specific luminescent color is provided on the surface of a ball G, and at the same time an identification symbol 26 is displayed in a non-luminous color.
