PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve film forming capability of a plastic composite material to be a base material for automobile interior trim ceiling member and to provide the automobile interior trim ceiling member high in rigidity and excellent in heat resistance, dimensional stability and mounting workability and its base material. SOLUTION: This member for forming automobile interior trim ceiling is formed by mixing mica having particle diameter of 10-100 m with a polypropylene resin having melt flow rate of 3-40 g/10 min. to make a resin having mica content of 15-40 wt.% and by laminating a micaceous polypropylene sheet having thickness of 100-300 m formed by the resin on both faces of a foamed polypropylene sheet having ratio of 5-50 times and thickness of 2-6 mm. The automobile interior trim ceiling member uses that member.
