PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paste transfer device which has no loss time for liquid thickness adjustment by providing a head which moves a transferred body so that when the transferred body moves across a transfer area for paste, the moving speed of the transferred body becomes as fast as the peripheral speed of a transfer body. ;SOLUTION: When a conductive ball 12 reaches the transfer area, the lower part of the conductive ball 12 comes into contact with flux 3. Here, the moving speed V1 of the conductive ball 12 (i.e., head 11) is equalized to the peripheral speed V2 of a drum 2. Consequently, when transfer is carried out, the relative speed between the conductive ball 12 and flux 3 is zero, so the flux 3 is prevented from pulling the conductive ball 12 to cause the conductive ball 12 to fall from the head 11. Then flux sticking on the conductive ball 12 and flux sticking on the drum 2 separate right after the conductive ball 12 passes through the transfer area, so that the transfer is completed.
