GENERATION OF PARTIAL DERIVATIVE FOR PERSPECTIVE CORRECTION TEXTURE COORDINATE IN FOUR-PIXEL TEXTURE PIPELINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a program and a device for generating a partial differential equation for the perspective correction texture coordinates in a computer graphics display device.;SOLUTION: In this method, the texture coordinates of four adjacent pixels is calculated, and the difference between the coordinates is obtained next. Next, the perspective correction factor is calculated, and multiplied by each differential coordinate. A system for generating the partial differential equation for the perspective-corrected texture coordinates comprises a first calculation component for calculating the texture coordinate in each of four adjacent pixels, a second calculation component for calculating the difference between the texture coordinates, a third calculation component for calculating the perspective correction factor based on the perspective correction coordinate, and a multiplication component for multiplying the perspective correction factor by each texture coordinate difference.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
