Display method and apparatus in a digital oscilloscope waveforms

PURPOSE: To realize, especially, a high speed roll mode indication by connecting a display memory in series with an acquisition memory for storing a digital waveform data subjected to A/D conversion. ;CONSTITUTION: A data of one image subjected to A/D conversion through an A/D converter 2 is taken into an acquisition memory 3. Write and read addresses in the memory 3 are made to step forward simultaneously and eventually stopped when a data for one image are inputted. Subsequently, the read and write addresses in the memory 3 are made to step forward simultaneously by an amount corresponding to one image, respectively, from the next address and 0 address being reset thus storing a waveform data to be displayed in a display memory 4. The waveform data is then read out sequentially into a display circuit 5 to update the old data thus displaying an up-to-data data on a display 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
