PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor required for compacting a worm gear, reducing a cost, and adjusting the axial position of a dual lead worm.;SOLUTION: An angular contact bearing 19 for constraining the axial direction of the dual lead worm 11 for a casing 15 is disposed on a servo motor 25 side, the angular contact bearing 19 is fastened and fixed by a dowel flange 26 for supporting a servomotor 25 and a bearing box 21 engaging with a through hole for mounting the worm of the casing 15, and an adjusting liner 22 sandwiched between the bearing box 21 and the side surface of the casing 15 adjusts a play clearance between each tooth of the dual lead worm 11 and each tooth of a worm gear 12. A bearing 17 on the side facing to the angular contact bearing 19 does not require adjustment of the bearing position, so that the labor for adjusting the axial position of the dual lead worm 11 can be reduced. The worm gear 12 engaging with a cylindrical part of an output shaft 13 is integrally adhered and fixed to the flange disposed on the output shaft 13 by frictional welding, so that the worm reduction gear can be compacted, and its cost can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
