PURPOSE:To constitute a compact and light-weight bill bundle storing cassette by providing a bill bundle movement driving source and a bill bundle hooking driving source on the machine body side for mounting the storing cassette. CONSTITUTION:The storing cassette 2 is provided with a supporting part 4 to come into contact with the front surface of the front-most bill bundle, a bill bundle moving mechanism 5 for moving the supporting part 4 back and forth and a bill bundle hooking mechanism 6 for hooking a bill bundle group at a backward position at least by one bill bundle width from the front-most position of the supporting part 4. The cassette 2 is also provided with a pressing means 10 for pressing the bill bundle group on the front side of the cassette 2 by the excitation of a spring 9, a press hooking mechanism 11 for restricting the movement of the means 10 in the direction reverse to the pressing direction, a locking/unlocking mechanism 12 for unlocking the mechanism 11 when the mechanism 5 moves backwards and locking the mechanism 11 at the time of forward movement of the mechanism 5, the bill bundle movement driving source 13 for driving the mechanism 5 when the cassette 2 is mounted on the machine side, and a bill bundle hooking driving source 14 for driving the mechanism 6.
